Inequalities in Malnutrition in Low- and Middle-Income Countries

This report supplements the World Bank series on Socio-Economic Differences in Health, Nutrition, and Population, which provides basic information about health, nutrition, and population (hnp) inequalities within fifty-six developing countries. The objective of this report is twofold: First, to update the data relating to child undernutrition (stunting and underweight) in the original series reports, by using the new international child growth standards. Second, to provide information on overweight and obesity, which were not included in the original series reports.
