The manual is divided into six topics, to be taught over 3 to 5 days. The package can be adapted to the level of the learners involved and the amount of time available. A field visit is recommended. Each topic consists of key issues, case studies, ideas for discussion related to conducting an assessment, trainer's notes and a set of handouts for the learners.
